Intentional Listening

Music used to ask something from us.

You had to choose an album. Put the tape in. Press play. And actually listen.

Rewynd Archive isn't about going backward. It's about making a little room to be present again.

Why Rewynd
It's not trying to be a vintage Walkman.

We love vintage Walkmans. They're a big part of what inspired Rewynd.

But finding one in great condition isn't always easy. And repairing one can take time, knowledge, and sometimes a little luck.

Rewynd Archive was created for people who simply want to put a cassette in, press play, and enjoy the experience.

For the music lover.

The Story

It started
with a feeling.

Rewynd Archive started as an idea living in my head.

I wasn't an audiophile. I just loved music. I started thinking about the way music used to feel: the mixtapes, the physical albums, the little click when you put a cassette in, the anticipation before the music started.

And I wondered...

What if we could bring some of that feeling back, but make it fit the way we live now?
